Stage Door Productions believes in providing theatre for the local community. But that just isn’t a tagline, it is a way of life at Stage Door.

Stage Door Stars

One of our ways to give back is through Stage Door Stars. The Stars program is a series of educational workshops to educate and inspire the love of theatre and performing arts in children five to twenty-two years of age, with a target population for those with special needs. What better way to ensure the Stars of future theatre, right?

This week, we finished up our summer camp with workshops for creative arts, production, dance, art, and music. The camp is held at one of the local high schools, Massaponax High School, where many of the Stage Door theatre productions are also held! Check out this awesome flyer to learn more about Stage Door Stars and this past summer’s camp!

Perhaps you are more of a visual learner? Then check out this killer video about this summer’s camp and its theme of Stars Around the World! And don’t forget to check out photos of last year’s camp, courtesy of Stephen Rummel Photography. We have links to A Flower in the Snow, The Jungle Book, and the dance camp.

The fall session will commence with workshops being held on October 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th to inspire a whole new group of children!
